The principle of free-form surface solution mainly includes the principle of geometric optics and angular spectrum diffraction theory. The free-form surface solution uses orderly refraction of the light path to collimate the light in the process of propagation inside the lens and finally form an image. Specifically, the solution uses a free-form surface reflector with a certain reflection/transmission (R/T) value. The light emitted by the display is directly shot to the concave mirror/synthesizer and reflected back into the eye. The ideal position of the display source is centered and parallel to the mirror surface.
