In order to obtain the expected camera effect, six basic elements should be paid attention to when selecting lenses:

A Size of the object

B Detail size of the object

C Object distance

D Focal length

E Size of the CCD camera target surface

F Resolution of the lens and camera system

I. Product selection guide
The TV monitoring system directly views everything happening in the monitored place and target on the monitor through remote control of cameras, lenses, electric pan/tilts and other equipment. And the image information content of the monitored place and target can be transmitted to the video recorder for recording.

Lens: Focus the light image of the monitored target on the target surface of the camera or the CCD (charge coupled device) sensor, and produce a clear image of the monitored target on the target surface of the camera or the CCD sensor.

When selecting a lens, the lens should be consistent with the industrial interface of the camera. The lens specifications should be consistent with the specifications of the camera target surface. The focal length of the lens should be determined according to the field of view and the distance between the lens and the monitored target. Except for antimony sulfide camera tubes, when the illumination of the monitored target changes, aperture adjustable lenses should be used. When remote control is required, a remote control lens device with optical focus, aperture opening, and zoom can be selected. When the camera needs to be hidden, it can be set in the ceiling or wall, and the lens can be a pinhole or prism lens.
Lens: It can be divided into fixed focal length lens, zoom lens, wide-angle lens, etc.
1 Fixed focal length lens is used to capture fixed targets.
2 Zoom lens is used to capture a wide range of images.
3 Wide-angle lens is used to capture images with small viewing distance and large viewing angle.
The selection of camera lens should comply with the following regulations:
① The focal length of the lens should be determined according to the size of the field of view and the distance of the lens target.
When capturing fixed surveillance targets, a fixed focus lens can be selected; when the viewing distance is small and the viewing angle is large, a wide-angle lens can be selected; when the viewing distance is large, a telephoto lens can be selected; when the observation angle of the surveillance target needs to be changed or the viewing angle range is large, a zoom lens should be selected.
② When remote control is required, a remote control lens device with optical focus, aperture opening, and zoom can be selected.
